This is a cute Christmas story about shifters and humans. It can be read as a stand-alone but if you have read any of the previous stories in this series it will give you more of the backstory. It is short and has glimpses into the previous stories, and a nice happy ending.
A lovely seasonal read with a positive vibe about the real meaning of Christmas. Zaria gets an invite from her friend Bella, the mate/wife who is married to King Alex. Quint had decided that is was time to ask Gerri’s help in finding a mate, not knowing Zaria had arrived with Gerri. When they meet that evening, Quint has foot in mouth syndrome and annoys Zaria. These two have to find some simple balance and Quint realises that Zaria is just one of those people who bring out the best in everyone around her. This is my honest review of this book I was offered by the author but read through KU.
A fascinating and entertaining story as Zaria and Quint go through many twists and turns, misunderstandings, plenty of hot chemistry and many different surprises as their mated relationship develops. A well written tale that I enjoyed immensely.
I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Milly has outdone herself again Every time I open a PDA book from Milly I think I know what will happen (which always does by the end) but the journey getting to that happy ending is always full on shock, surprises and suspense and I love every minute of it. Thanks again Milly and keep up the great work.
