I have read every Sean Wyatt book that Earnest Dempsey has written. I thought the last book was his best, but this one is even better. I kept trying to get some work done, but in the end, just had to sit down and read this action packed novel to the end. This novel is longer than usual, so more Sean Wyatt, Tommy and Adriana to enjoy. The archaeological content, as usual, was totally absorbing, which is one of the things that drew me to this series in the first place. If you haven't read a Sean Wyatt yet then you are missing novels with plots full of adventure and action, in the vein of other great authors, such as Clive Cussler, James Rollins and Matthew Reilly. Settle down with this book for a great weekend of reading, you won't be disappointed.
As an advance reader of Ernests books for an honest review l must say l feel l got a brilliant deal. This was a corker of a book.Again Tommy and Sean get sucked into helping find a missing archaeologist , working on a dig in India. Luckily the brilliant Adriana is accompanying the duo on this trip. Well some over blown egotistical actor raids vault B at Sree Padmanabhaswarmy temple . This was an unexplored vault protected by a vicious breed of cobras. Once inside Brock and Heather and evil henchmen steal the Trishula of Shiva. An extremely deadly weapon able to bring about the destruction of the human race. Sean , Tommy and Adriana have to interpret the clues to find the hidden location of the mace of Vishnu , the Gada.Throw in the traitors and the Chinese secret service and your on your way with a supercharged book . Had it read in 24 hrs this book was brilliant. Thanks Ernest for another gripping yarn.
As a long time fan of the Sean Wyatt series I look forward to my latest fix of adventure and historical facts intermingled. The Forbidden Temple doesn't disappoint.
Once again the regular characters are involved in another fast paced and exciting read and the historical information has me researching to find out more about Hinduism and the historic places littered throughout the story.
For regular readers, don't miss out on another great read and for new readers, once you've read this you will be going through the backlog to get more of the Sean Wyatt fix.
One of the best stories yet. Can't wait for he next one.
