Asked to look into the disappearance of a former K9 army dog, Ethan stumbles into a whole other set of problems. He finds himself involved with the rescue of a severely wounded dog and the unexpected meeting of a fellow animal lover. Danger is unravelled and circumstances arise that are surprising to all. I was gifted with book, and voluntarily review and recommend it. I have always found any story told by Dale Mayer to be excellent reading. This one certainly does not disappoint. Looking forward to others in the series.
2 ex service heroes, Ethan learning to live after live changing events which took his K9 partner, and Sentry whos reentry to stateside life isn't to hot. Ethan's love of dog is tested went he first arrives an injured dog Sally catchs his eye. Helping this dog introduced old friend Stone and Gunner to name a few, and new friends Cinnamon Cinn to friends. Ethan investigates Sally which finds Ethan with 4 dogs, a chance at love and a new life purpose which now include Cinn and 5 dogs. Love the visits from old friends showing one is never truly alone.
When Military K9 s are in danger they are Not left alone, Ethan and a number of others have to save them and other well trained dogs from an unsavoury element who have tried to train them with brutality. Ethan has that special something that dogs need and respect, so when he finds that special someone things start happening in a funny, dangerous, incredibly interesting way. I love this book and the storyline and Highly Recommend This Book to Anyone and Everyone. Those who serve our countries both Human and Animals are NOT THROWAWAYS!!!
I really enjoyed this book! What a terrific new series. Each book does seem to stand alone, although there is an overarching narrative that connects all the stories. I love any story with a dog at the centre, and when you add in the delicious, alpha male characters Dale Mayer is so good at writing, and make them all veterans, you really can't be disappointed. Well written and loads of fun.
