I had a moment of panic and loss of faith just over halfway through this story.. I couldn't continue.. my sense of dread that the Warden was going to do another hyslop and completely mess up one of our favourite couples and founding characters again, overwhelming ... I should have had more faith.. but I jumped ahead to the end to check there was the HEA.. thankfully the Warden has been true to her readers and her characters... and allowed the shining golden globes of fate to win through.. at least for now.. not sure where this series is heading.. I think this was a bit of a watershed.. tying offing a number of old threads.. there were no teasers going on in the back story .. so perhaps we will get some new characters and a fresh story arc ..looking forward to see where she takes us next..
My all-time fav author. I've read everything she's written and although I have my favourite characters ( Rhage!) the BDB will always send me running to my comfy chair with a hot cup of coffee, my book and the doors lock to stave off interruptions.
I loved Murhder's story (with John Matthew helping the storyline along). His connection to Murhder made me smile. Bring on the next book.
My only gripe, I wish the books were longer, although almost 500 pages is still quite respectable. (I read this one in 2 sittings :-D)
This book was so well written as per usual. Can't wait to see was is install for what throe started and what's your come of the scary magic he invoked. It seems like the brotherhood have quite an army now.
Once again JR Ward takes us on an incredible journey of love, loss, revenge & redemption. All the the heroes is this new instalment deserve their happily ever after. When reading “The Savior” one can only pray for their very own enigmatic (ass-less chap wearing) angel to grant them an eternity of more Black Dagger Brothers (and their equally strong Females). All hail JR Ward.
I loved Murhder's story, so brilliantly told immersing us once again in the lives of our favourite vampires and their families. Setting us on the path for another adventure with the Black Dagger Brotherhood. The Warden did not disappoint.
Finding out about Murhder was a twisting tale full of surprises and love at every turn. Mixed with the new BDB and the old, it was a pleasant read that I didn't want to put down. If you love all things vampires and steamy encounters you will be sure to enjoy this book.
