In this book a whorl wind romance develops amid family secrets and the attempt to take down a man whose network preys on the vulnerable. Lucy and Leighton find themselves surprisingly connected in a very short period of time. The members of the Redemption Harbor crew work together to wrap up a case that has been sitting in the background of the previous books in this series. Each member brings their own specialty with them. It’s their differences that make them a great team. Their significant other helps to ground each member and build the full family experience they each crave. It’s been an action packed series filled with different situations and solutions. The relationships that have come about have enhanced the experience of reading and it make the reader feel involved with the series at a deeper level.
Leighton and Lucy, a great story in this series with definite ties to the rest of the series, some very suspenseful moment and a few seriously sexy moments I really enjoyed this one just as much as I have loved every other story from Redemption Harbor.
A sensational new Redemption Harbor novel that readers can really sink their teeth into. As the niece of Redemption Harbor Consulting’s greatest enemy, she was supposed to be the means to an end but Leighton didn’t count on her making his blood boil and making him want things that he doesn’t deserve with someone he can’t have. Leighton and Lucy are two very strong, compelling characters that grab hold and refuse to let go as the suspense and tension build throughout the story. The chemistry is electrical and there is no denying the magnetic attraction between this couple but there are lots obstacles hindering this romance, so this relationship is one that defies the odds and brings the empathy out in readers as they hope that Leighton and Lucy can overcome those obstacles and achieve a happily ever after.
The fast paced and smooth flowing plot holds readers in thrall from beginning to end with lots of thrilling suspense and sense of expectation and danger. The suspense builds as Lucy begins to learn just how evil her Uncle is and she joins forces with Leighton and the team to take Alexei down but the closer they get the more deadly the storm hurtling toward them becomes. There was no way that I could put this story down once I started reading it, the characters are engaging and the story is one suspenseful event after the other.
The latest installment for the men and women of the Redemption Harbor Consulting Team and while all of the previous characters are represented in this story set in New Orleans it is actually Leighton the founder of the companies story
Luciana (Lucy) Carreras is the niece of Alexei Kuznetsov and Leighton Cannon first sees her as a means to an end to destroy the evil crime empire her uncle has set up but as he spends more time with her he realises she is just a pawn in his evil empire Will Leighton the man with the sad eyes whos friends worry about him finally find the woman that will make him feel whole or is this ex marine to damaged to ever find love. Once again this is a brilliant story from an extremely talented author While each book can be read as a standalone I would recommend that you read the entire series in order so that you get the full benefit
Thank you firstly to Netgalley and Katie for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review.
Loved this latest book in the Redemption Harbour Series! Leighton is approached by an old friend who happens to be a Fed, to help her with something that she can’t do herself. Leighton and his team opt to go to New Orleans and Leighton goes undercover as a wealthy man to scope out the hotel/casino called the Sapphire. Lucy is the manager at the Sapphire but as far as she knows it’s business as usual, until Leighton turns the tables on everything she ever knew and reveals the truth about her uncle. A great suspense and action story, a bit of humour from some of our old favourites and a beautiful love story that no one expected to evolve the way it did! And once again catching up with all the team we’ve become familiar with over the last few books😍
