Well up until the last 10% of this book i loved it ! I loved how the Heat ramped up between Haley and Jax ! It was HOT they were finally going in the right direction finally working it out and then .... the last 10% - without any spoilers why did he choose that and why did she choose that ... they could be such a good team . Frustrating ending ! And just like the first was left completely incomplete . ... I’m going to keep reading the series because I want them to have a happy ending ( please let it be a happy ending haha) but the way these books are broken up and abruptly stop is frustrating .
Over all though ... I really do love Hayley and Jax . I do love that we see them grow and mature and change ... I really hope Hayley can help Jax to heal and Jax cuts a break in life .
I'm really enjoying this series. The connection between the 2 main characters is a nice slow burn which keeps you turning the page to find out more. Off to get the next book and continue on with this beautiful love story
Hot Damn, this series is amazing. I must say do not read this review if you haven’t devoured book 1, Good Girl as it will spoil it for you. I don’t know how to put into words what I feel for this series, it’s funny, sweet, raw, emotional and freaking hot!
Haley left Jax after discovering he kept a secret about her father, Bad Girl starts with her going to see him at one of his last concerts. With 2nd thoughts, she tries to change her mind, ending with a stampede of fans, an injured Haley, and Jax (fans myself) picking her up and taking her back inside. In the 2 months Haley and Jax were apart, a lot has changed, but then nothing changed for them. Haley is still the geek, and he still the raging superstar rock god.
But discovering Cross to be he father was the biggest shock! He turned her life upside down, when all she wanted to do was finished college. Now she’s back in Jax’s arms, everything has changed, not the shy Girl anymore, Haley is forced to stand up to the men in her life… Ending not so gracefully.
While Haley had her own life issues, Jax is dealing with leaving Riot Act, and wanting to be more to Annie…. But most of all, he wants Haley. She is the only constant in his life that is really good. Knowing he shouldn’t, little calls, some hot phone sex and meet ups, means both are opening up to something, neither wants to label.
But once again life will throw another hurdle at Haley and Jax, one that might just spell the end… Dear God I need book 3 like, now. Cliffhangers suck, but this story freaking rocks.
Bad Girl is part 2 in the wicked series. Part 1 left us hanging and I was so pleased part 2 arrived quickly. Jax and Hayley's story continues and becomes even better. The storyline flows really well. It is a highly addictive read, to the exclusion of everything else. The book is really well written, full of humour, banter, steam and heartbreak. The twists and turns make this a real page turner. Hayley and Jax's chemistry is undeniable, and they are an incredible couple, although like many couples there are issues. The book ended on a cliffhanger, really can't wait for conclusion. I received an arc and this is my honest review
