The more time they spend together she knows Tony is making her feel again, but they’re from different worlds, Tony knows it’s impossible and can’t believe he’s thinking he can make Pepper happy, but he knows what they have is more than anything he’s ever had before. Tony doesn’t want to tell Pepper about his past, he knows he’s soulless, he has her affection, but will he keep it when she sees what he’s really capable of, even when it’s protecting her. Can they put both their broken pieces together and find each other’s happiness together.
Pepper Nd Tony are both fromflawed backgrounds. Pepper a singer /songwriter is being forced to perform in vegas for the mafia to pay off a family debt. Tony is a mob enforcer. This book has it all ,murder, blackmail heat Loved it. Pepper and Tony work well together .Great addition to the series
As a general rule I avoid Mafia Romances - they're just not my thing. But, I've read the first 2 books in this series & found the mood to be lighter, & therefore more enjoyable for me. This is my favourite so far. I loved the pull between the characters from the beginning & liked that there was less of a power difference between them. Easily a standalone read, this will fill a couple of hours quite happily.
