I have so many words and mixed emotions about Dustins book that i don't even know where to really start. To me this had the same emotional turmoil that Shade did. I haven't cried as much reading a book then i did with shade but this one holy frack balls did i cry like a new born baby. Jamie have us a deeper in site into the Porter family and its history. The cruelty that their father bestowed upon his children was harsh and mean. And stubbornness and pride stood front and center in how he raised Dustin,Tate, Rachel and Greer. But they were also taught to love each other and protect each other no matter the cost. With Jessie and Dustins history and the family war between Jessie family and Dustin’s all because of their fathers hstred of each other stopped Dustin and Jessies love for each other before it could even get started. Years wasted on hurt feelings and loyalty to their own families nearly didnt see the two coming together however when the unthinkable happens and Jessie is almost lost to Dustin forever Dustin goes in search of Jessie and vows to bring her home safe and sound. Truely Dustins book is one of the best besides Shade that is in the last rider series, and thats saying something because everyone of those books is amazing and ive given them five star reads . I highly recommend this series and the spin off books to every reader just make sure you have tissues at hand first , your going to need it.
The much anticipated final book in the Porter brothers trilogy is here! I love Dustin and Jessie’s story, it was everything I expected from a Jamie Begley book. It has suspense, it has paranormal aspects, it has romance, it has action, it is also heartfelt and tears at your emotions and has a story of characters that I love sooooo much that I cannot foresee not ever having more of this series in the future.
So Jamie please a Hayes spin off would be great and fun to read and I’m assuming Genny’s story is coming and to learn more about Cole! A must read series and author who never disappoints with her stories and will always have you on the edge of your seat and guaranteed a box of tissues on occasion too:)
I dont know what it is about the books writen by Jamie Begley but i was sobbing once again. When i first got a kindle back in 2014 one of the first book i read was Razers Ride in the Last Riders Series and have never looked back. I continued to buy the rest of the series and all the off shoots since then, loving the story lines and characters. The book Shade in the Last Rider series had me sobbing , feeling shattered and Claiming the Enemy did it to me again, sobbing in a chair unable to explain the grief i was feeling for the characters in the book. I'll be waiting for the next book to be released so it can take me on another emotional roll-a-coaster, from laughing to crying I'm sure the stories to come will keep wanting more.
Jamie has done it again, this book has all the feels. It takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. In true Porter fashion, you learn to love and hate Dustin as he grows on you throughout the book. Jessie is a great heroine, strong and feisty, loyal and loving. Have the tissues ready!!!!
Gotta say, I love this hillbilly family. Another fabulous read from Jamie Begley. I always check for any new releases because I have never been disappointed. If you haven't read a book by Jamie, what are you doing, start downloading.

The love that they have for each other . Family and friendship, the total faith that you can lean on them for anything. A great read . Highly recommend
Prepare the tissues. Brilliantly written and as always you are taken on an emotional roller coaster. Happy ending but don’t start this book until you have a day to read it because you won’t want to put it down
