This was a great follow on from the first book. Allow, Sinister and the dragons, Kain, Rime and Chaos, find themselves guests of the Prince as they ask him for help in tracking down Kreedence, who has kidnapped Agatha. What they didn't expect was to uncover secrets the King has been hiding.
Allow grows closer to Chaos and finally breaks through to Rime, while Kain keeps his distance, and Sinister continues to confuse her. She questions everything that went down 5 years ago - did she really love Sinister, or was that just a product of the situation they were in?
The storyline once again kept me intrigued, and I loved learning more about the dragons and their pasts. Rime especially opened up more in this book, and his past explains why he is a little aloof and untrusting.
I'm really enjoying this series, and it's one I would recommend. I've already pre-ordered the next book and can't wait for it to come out.
A.K.Koonce you minx how do you pull me so deep into your world's I struggle to seperate it from Earth, so complex and detailed that it leaps off the page and wraps you in a vivid dream while wide awake. Pure Magic ✨
Book 2 in this series steps it up a notch and I had me engrossed and fully invested in the story the whole way through! I really enjoyed getting to know the guys/dragons more in this book and can’t wait to see what happens next! Bring on book 3!!
The first book in this series was great. The heroine was snarky, the hero's were growly and masculine, and it introduced the characters well. This book went a bit deeper, but still kept the humour and snark that made the first book so good. I'm very much looking forward to the next installment.
