I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I’ve read a lot about the Wars of the Roses and Richard III but still learned so much. Sorting of the fact from the fiction was handled in a balanced way and I really got a feel for what Richard the man may really have been like and also what he achieved during his kingship which is often forgotten. Was he responsible for the deaths of the princes in the tower? We will never know for sure - I personally wonder if that schemer Margaret Beaufort had something to do with it. Anyway, this is a great book - I bought it for my father in law for Christmas as he is another Ricardian like myself. First class read.
