This entry ended the ww iii story in a satisfying way. Lots of combat ranging from airborne assaults, tankers on the move and behind the scenes decision making. One of the things I liked is that we get a look at what's happening on multiple levels. The human cost of war wasn't glossed over which is appreciated as I have had several veterans in my family. Give this series a go.
This is a great series and I am sorry it has ended. The battle scenes are very realistic and I am glad I was not there. I hope the next books are of the same caliber. The final page setting out the continuing life of the main characters is a great idea that more authors should emulate.
Great ending to a great series. Hard to put down once you start is always a good sign of a great book! Might just have to start at the beginning “Battlefield Ukraine” as I’m sure I will enjoy it all over again!!
If you like like your war fiction tightly written without any extra fluff, this is the series for you. I'll probably re-read the entire series again in the not to distant future. I enjoyed it that much.
