Have to say I struggled with the first part of Ch1 however I continued and wow!! For the first time in a long time I have read a fantasy book that leaves me wanting more. The characters are richly described without being flowery or unbelievable. They are developed continually through the book all the ugliness of human nature is revealed alongside the need for connectedness. The plot has left me wanting more - I'll have to wait for my wages to clear haha but I'm hanging out for book number two.
