I’ve only been using these nursing pads half a week, so can’t say how they go over time, but so far I’m very pleased with them. I’ve used reusables before, but not contoured, and it did annoy me how they would pucker and wrinkle, so I was keen to try contoured ones this time. These are smaller than I expected, and the contoured shape does mean I look a bit pointy, but I’ve found you can push the point in a bit, giving a more rounded outline, which is good. They’re also pretty absorbable, better than my old ones. Obviously they’re not going to be as good as the disposable kind in that department, but as it’s recommended to change your nursing pads after each feed anyway, I don’t see that as a problem. I’m still feeding my baby at night, so can’t say whether they’ll stay leak-proof once he starts sleeping through. They come beautifully packaged, and the lace design on the back is unique, though not exactly necessary! (Does anyone care what their nursing pads look like?!) Wash bag is good, and there’s room to fit a couple of pairs of knickers or a bra in there too.
My second box of those pads have just arrived. I'm really happy with them. So far, one of them have leaked once. But that was when I was breastfeeding and the other boob had been dripping for a whole and the pad was very full! In general the absorb a lot! My only concern is the way they are put together. When you're wearing them it always looks as if your nipples were sticking out.
I am never using disposable breast pads again! These are great but could probably be a little bit more absorbent. I haven't washed mine yet so may get more absorbent with each wash. 5 pairs is definitely not enough as I go through at least 3 pairs per day so I have ordered another batch.
I was getting sick of using disposable pads as often they would come out of place and stick to my skin. I also hated that they were all individually wrapped in plastic. I live these now as they are super soft (especially after a short trip through the dryer), contoured to fit and absorbent. Great they come with a wash bag to keep them together plus a lovely box if you want to give as a gift. Recommend for sure!
It's a great celebration of motherhood without the strain of hurting the environment too much. Practical considering the monthly cost of nursing pads is $5 at least so it's a steal. Tried it today and looks like it delivers its promise. Love the feeling and comfort, will buy this again to gift new moms.
Ftm just prepping to get all the items i might possibly need settled.4 stars as I have not tried it yet. Looks and feels nice. I like the lacy designs and the fact that its not just flat and round but contoured. Fits well. Cant wait to put it to Use when the time comes.
Really good quality product and well priced. Fits well and good level of absorbency. I also purchased Bamboobies but for the price difference, these are definitely better value and more absorbent than the bamboobie hearts although not quite as soft or thin. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love the colour range. The sustainable packaging is super cute and I will keep them on the little box! Comes with a reusable bag to keep the pads too. So much care taken into this little package I was so excited to undo the ribbon and open this box!
