I loved this series, and I'm actually sad that this is the end. I could definitely read more of Giovanna, Maven, Chance, and Banyan. The story is written in a way that really draws you in, and leaves you heavily invested in whether they get their HEA or not. I will admit I had teary moments throughout the series, more so in book 2, but this book still takes you on an emotional journey.
The storyline wasn't just about their emerging unconventional relationship. It covered a lot of other aspects, including the mystery associated with Vonnie's roommate Molly, and all 4 of their relationships with their parents and how they dealt with the feelings that left them with.
I loved that they were open and honest with each other in this book - no more secrets for the sake of protecting the others. They all showed that they would do anything for the others, so it wasn't just Vonnie on the receiving end - she was able to be there for her men and support them when they needed it most.
And these guys - wow are they amazing. Yes they have their flaws, but they work so well as a team and really complemented each other. I loved seeing them develop and grow throughout the series, and to see them open up and expose more of their fears and vulnerabilities to Giovanna in this book. That trust meant everything to her, and made the storyline work.
The glimpse at the future that was at the start of each book, and then the epilogue was so beautifully written. You know there is a HEA there, but how they get there was what kept me reading page after page into the early hours of the morning. I loved that they made their relationship work for them, and that they didn't care about what society though or what 'normal' was - they made their own normal. This book wrapped things up nicely and while I'd love more on these characters I find myself very satisfied and happy with how it has ended.
Amazing series, and one I would definitely recommend.
The final book in this amazing Contemporary Reverse Harem. It was hard to say goodbye to Giovanna, Chance, Maven and Banyan. And i couldn't even say who my favourite as they all held a piece of my heart. And Giovanna's. It starts off with a scare and of course the guys cone to her, despite her parents swoon. And I have to mention I REALLY disliked them. The sweet soul of Giovanna came from that and has done surprisingly well. I just wanted to hug her so much!
And Molly is still out there, and very much still fixated on our girl. But the guys will do everything to protect her. And while we saw Giocanna grow and became sure of their love we also see the guys love for her grow and blossom. And a lot of trust. More of the guys past is told and you can see why they are the way they are. And how they're all damaged by family. But overcome it. You can see how this love will last, even if they don't have everything downpat and know where everything is headed they know they'll stick by each other and love each other no matter what.
This was a great book to end the series. Vonni and her boys were all so broken separately but you could see on their journey how they became whole together. They all deserved much better than they got from their parents. It was a great story with a good plot line with twists and turns to keep it interesting but written in a way that didn’t get you down or feel too angsty. They all deserved their HEA. It ended well but I would have liked a bit more epilogue to see what happened in more detail down the track eg with all their careers etc since they got talked about so much. Good read.
What’s lovely end to a beautiful trilogy. If you haven’t read the first two get to it! This book rounds off The Molly chapter, which I mean thank heavens, that psycho needed to be put away. It also shows having monstrous parents doesn’t mean that you automatically become monstrous as well and Marven, Chance, Banyan and Vonni are testament to that fact. It was great to see our main characters shake off the stresses of their past and move on to better endeavours for their future together.
