Nice capacity for a lot of batteries of all kinds. Being a bit OCD, I never have to deal with the mess in my drawer again. It would be nice to have a cover though. On the other hand, after I put the batteries in I found a small hairline crack from between the bottom right corner of the AAA slot to the upper right AA slot, I think the plastic itself cannot support to much of weight but since this organizer is not being move anywhere constantly it doesn't matter to me.
The back of the battery tester has a chart for 1.5v and 9v ALKALINE battery. What I almost use is the eneloop 1.2v AA and AAA NiMH batteries. To save some time for other here's a quick reference, I hope this help:
A very quick way to estimate the status of a rechargeable cell “AA” / “AAA” 1.2v battery by using a simple multimeter and checking the terminal voltage of the battery, do note that this is not an accurate way to measure the battery capacity as it just to give you a rough idea about status for a NiMH rechargeable battery.
If the voltage in Volts (V) is around
1.36 - 1.38 – Consider the battery as fully charged.
around 1.30 – It has around 80% of the capacity
around 1.2 or lower the cell is almost fully discharged.
I can now have all my batteries in the same place, neatly organized so I know where they are, and they are handy when needed. It fits all size batteries. It also comes with a removable battery tester which helps you know when it's time to replace the batteries.
Anliz battery storgae organizer can nicely packed without any damage. This storage is made of durable plastict material and helps ti keep the batteries organized and neatly stored. And it comes with a battery tester. Using this storage organizer we can store 110 batteries (48 AA, 24 AAA, 8 9volt, 10 C, 8 D and Button cell).WE can store this storage box flat in a drawer or mount it on the wall.
It's an unglamorous task, the battery tray, and this one checks the box for doing the one job it has to do
Pros: - Good number of AA and AAA spaces - Fairly sturdy, but not that will get beaten up that much - The digital tester is a nice improvement over the waggy needle ones
Cons: - No cover, but maybe not a con, as it would just be a dust magnet and unnecessary - Could give up some of the D and C spaces. I only have them for old flashlights that are as easy to keep than get rid of - The tester sits face down. Not a big deal, but why?
Keeps all your most used batteries in once place with charge tester, but much better than falling about boxes stuffed in drawers. I've since discovered that my Wii controllers eat batteries like candy and that once AA's go below 1.43v, they are toast. Pros - Organized, easy to see inventory of batteries, tester is a huge bonus. Cons - Takes up more space, clip that holds tester in place is not always intuitive to get it right first go.
I love the idea of this thing. It fits plenty of batteries, but wish it fit more of other sizes. It does NOT come a closing latch or anything to securely close it so beware! This was the second battery organizer I ordered and was not about to go through the hassle of returning it again because I failed to read instructions (yes I’m lazy). I’m not installing it anywhere so it’s not a big deal, but it would be really useful it if locked
