As a simple storage container to slip into a drawer, this product will work fine. But if you want something that can transport batteries you will find it lacking. It does not have a lid to enclose the batteries and the tester does not snap into place. This causes it to fall off everytime I move the holder. The tester seems to work fine if that is high on your list.
They say in the advertisement that you can keep it in a drawer or mount it on the wall. Quote: "And you can put it in two ways: Desktop or Wall Mounted. (Size: 13.5*6.8*1.7inch) " The instructions say very clearly and in absolutes, not to mount it on the wall.
I guess the storage issue is dependent on what kind of batteries you use the most of but it seems like they store a lot of 9 volt batteries compared to C and D size batteries that are much more important to me than the 9 volt ones. The same issue applies to the AA size compared to AAA. Most of my remotes take AAA rather than AAs so that's a bit of a problem for me.
Looking at the pictures again I see it does not indicate there is a top for it. My fault for not noticing. It looks like the product is meant to be hung on a wall but the batteries sit so loosely in it that any shaking if it, say in an earthquake or like me where there is currently a lot of construction happening, I could see these falling out. I could see these being useful in a drawer but the weight of it when filled with batteries might strain the drawer making it harder to open and close. I'll be on the search for an enclosed case now and maybe still this in a garage sale.
I believe that this one had been returned as it only had 1 screw with it and it was laying in 1 of the battery 🔋 storage areas It was supposed to come with 3 screws and anchors. It is just a cheaply made plastic case but it does hold the 🔋 🔋 batteries. Would spend more for a better one as you get what you pay 💰 for.
This does the job, it isn't fancy at all. Because it's functional I gave 3 stars. It is very thin plastic. When the batteries are added to it it feels.ike it is going to split in half. Once I filled it with batteries, I realized I should've got one with a cover.
It holds the batteries just fine. However, the ad is very misleading because there is NO cover! They send small screws to hang on wall I supposed but still no lid yet it calls it a case!!! My husband already started filling it up or I would send it back.
This storage case for batteries has the correct size for various batteries, but just not enough of them. It lacks a lid. This is a substantial flaw. If the box is tipped over--picking up the mess is really a chore. Sorry I bought this one.
This is great to organize your batteries. To be honest, I sent it back because it didn’t have a lid and I really didn’t want batteries falling out all over the place. It seemed to hold them well, but I just didn’t want to take that chance
Great battery holder with one exception. It comes with hanger for wall, but as it is, you couldn’t keep small button batteries in their compartment without a lid of some sort. That’s the only thing I would add- a plastic lid!
I only gave it 3 stars do to the lack of a latching top. That would keep the dust & developing crust off the battery tops, which reduces effeciency. A top would also allow me to mount it on the wall of a closet leaving me work &/or storage space.
