A Great Read
29 March 2019
Once again Kate Quinn has delivered a great historical novel based largely on fact and so interwoven with fiction that's it's hard to tell where fact finished and fiction takes over. Kate has used more than one female Nazi villain to construct the Huntress and the reputation of several Russian women night bombers to make her nemesis and the real life exploits of journalists and photographers who traveled with the armed forces and recorded the war in real time.
The story is tight, compelling and very well written and the ending is so very, very satisfying. I cannot recommend this book highly enough, buy it, you won't regret it.
