I have been using Anova Sous Vide in USA but I cannot bring it because it's not auto volt. I purchased this item in time to cook prime rib for family and friends in Australia. Unfortunately the first item we received was defective. AUCMA replaced it right away but the postal is close for us to receive it by Christmas. We received the replacement before we leave and I was able to cook rib eye steaks and it was cooked to perfection by AUCMA sous vide then brown using a frying pan.
We've been thinking about getting a sous vide stick for awhile and finally took the plunge. First effort was with porterhouse steaks. There are 3 in our household and 2 of us like our steaks medium rare while the other likes hers medium well. For this attempt I put all 3 in at 68c for 90 minutes. All 3 came out perfect for medium well. Next time I'll put 1 in first then the other 2 in 20-30 minutes later.
