I've been using E-A-Rsoft for sleeping for years and are very happy with it. Unfortunately as now i live in Australia, i found it is not easy to get E-A-Rsoft any more, and the prices are almost twice as high as in the States.
thought i give this a try as it promises a specific design for sleeping. in actual fact, the foam material it uses is inferior to that of E-A-Rsoft. for one, it can not be re-used as after the first use the foam bounced back much faster and doesn't give you the time for a proper fit. price-wise, it is much more expensive than the 3M product, that is if i could find a cheap reliable supplier in Australia.
go back to hand-carrying them from the States - fortunately i only go through a box of 200 each year!
They rebound in about 4 seconds, where as the box says 35-45 seconds, which makes them very hard to get in. When I do get them in, I can never get them in properly as they have already expanded and they fall out during the night or soon after. If you have small ear canals like me, these are not the ear plugs for you, the size and the rebound time makes it virtually impossible to get in properly.
