Poor Darcy, her birthday is on April Fools day. Every year her friends try to prank her. This year they set up a dating profile that is hilarious but will definitely attract some of the sickos out there. There is only one message in the long line of crazies which has potential - finally a guy who makes her laugh, and who eventually persuades her to finally meet up in a bar. Her soon to be step brother Cameron is driving her nuts. He’s rude and he’s arrogant. And he’s the guy she sees when she goes to the bar to meet up with the guy she’s been crushing on via text! Payback’s a bitch when Darcy thinks that Cameron has played her.
WOW I’ve never laughed so much reading lately than I have reading this book lol 😂 absolutely amazing in every way lol Meet Cameron, Darcy and Mack lol 3 people who’s lives are going to be amalgamated through their parents wedding — enjoy the banter and competitive streak between the 3 soon to be siblings — some out of this world sex and some amazing feelings as we watch two people fall in love minus the games that they so religiously play to win.... with Mack as the mischievous sibling in the middle ♥️ a definite must read lol
A most enjoyable read - blending families can be challenging, especially when attraction is involved. Throw in some crazy friends who take April Fool’s Day to dizzying heights, and many a cross communication is likely to occur. Very much a Laugh Out Loud Book, You May need to explain to others if readingin a crowded location.
Payback’s a bitch was by far the best of the awkward series in my opinion, even though most of them stand out in my mind this one was sooooo good! Darcy’s birthday falls on April Fools Day and her two besties always pull pranks, but she ALWAYS gets her revenge on them! However, this year they have gone too far.....they’ve set her up on a singles dating website for BDSM, Furries and other “not to be mentioned” fetishes. She is starting a new internship because of her connection with her soon to be stepfather, who also happens to be a Judge, with two sons, Mack and Cameron.
Cameron has just moved to LA to set up their property development business but keeps getting set backs. When he hears about Darcy’s fake ad, he decides to play a game with her but things don’t always work out as planned and Darcy turns it around on him! Loved the pranks they pulled and loved how it eventually all turned out:) Great read and I honestly could not put it down!
Thanks Missy for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review.
