What have I just read. I’m sorry vlad but I think ven and Diana stole the show with this one. Their story is nothing but easy, they have many obstacles on the way that they have to face but when they have conquered those hurdles they are the bosses. They are the king and the queen of the V games.
I do recommend you reading Vlad before reading this one because their are extremely important bits out of that book that set the storyline for this book.
At the start of this book we learn that Diana has brought some shame to her family. Her father has turned his back on her. But boy did Diana show her strength in this book and pick herself back up like a boss. Dianna is down right goals, she is drop dead gorgeous, bad-ass and does not need a man to prove herself.
Diana embarks on a journey to destroy the men who put her down. Her journey, the pain and the grief and the way she picks herself up is incredible.
I had so much love for ven. His light side when he was with Diana was something to fall for. Don’t get me wrong ven has a dark side, and can be really evil. His dirty talking and dominant side is something that will turn any girl on and have you squirming. He could just be as bad as the others when the darkness takes over his body, mind and soul. I love how we were introduced to all sides that make up Ven.
From the age of sixteen, ven and Diana have had this strong connection. Their chemistry is off the charts. It’s powerful and it’s intense.
We finally get to see the danger of the V games in this book. It is brutal, deadly, bloody and so much more. I loved it. There were so many twists and turns with this book, secrets and revelations being revealed.
We meet a few new people and I was instantly drawn to them. I am begging and hoping that we get books for them. Ven’s cousins I’m ready for you. But omg that ending!!! I did not expect that at all. Now I’m dying for vas book.
This book should have been called Diana because she was the star Diana is fierce she’s has been knocked down and toss aside like dirt by all the men in her life. Diana is a strong, independent, warrior who will seek her own vengeance
Ven is a badass sexgod Russian Mafia king need I say more
Ven and Diana’s story was really something! Diana is one strong heroine and Ven’s love for her is unconditional! I love the suspense in these books and all the secrets that get revealed. Can’t wait for book 3!
I enjoyed this book so much more than the first one; it was right up my street. Dark, vile, delicious and bloody it was all I wanted and yet it gave me so much more. I love these authors writing together, they get their wicked dark heads on together and BOOM !!! They rock your world.
This is Ven and Diana's story and let me tell you it's a rough ride to read, sometimes very brutal but I loved every word and more importantly I adored Ven and Dianna together, they are a match made in heaven but with the devil on their shoulders the whole time. Diane is a women to admire, so strong yet vulnerable, loyal with a big heart but that heart is not immune to getting squashed under the evil despicable hands of the heads of the family and boy does she put up a fight. There in the background always watching her, admiring her, protecting her always is Ven. He has wanted her since he was sixteen and he wants her even more now. I loved the chemistry and the pull between these two, it was exciting and dangerous, hot and desirable and sexy as f*** , there wasn't one thing to dislike about this powerful addictive couple.
This is a story that is not to be missed and the second book in the V Games Series, it will have you holding your breath with endless anticipation as to what's coming next and just when you think you have it all worked out, these authors take you down another rabbit hole and into the pits of hell - awesome stuff !!!!
I was glued to this book from start to finish, Ven and Diana’s story is not pretty one ,this is dark romance is brutal at it's best. Ker and Kristi did not hold back in this instalment of the V games. I thought this book was even better than the first, where book #1 Vlad was gritty, ruthless and violent Ven. is all that amplified and more.
Although the storyline predominately follows Ven and Diana’s story, there are so many layers to the plot. We are gifted with further insight into some of the secondary characters Vas, Vika, Ruslan and Yegor along with an introduction of some new and intriguing characters.
This book has made my favourites list for the year, I just loved everything about it. The sex was smutty, smoking hot and a tad slutty, it was perfectly paired with the viciousness of their criminal world and fitting to the characters alike.
I admired Diana for her inner strength and courage, showing determination and resilience in her fight for independence and mortality. Unwilling to accept her fate she carves her own path, learning from her enemies, fighting fire with fire.
Ven is undeniably powerful and predominant in his world, his poison is venomous. His love and loyalty for Diana revealed a more humane and softer side to him and although his actions and crimes are not redeemable, we are still able to see the man behind the monster.
The V Games were intense, insane and so unexpected, I was completely absorbed. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book VAS
Ven Vetrov's story might come second to Vlad's but he is by no means second in nature.
Ven is being groomed by his father to one day take over the Vetrov 'kingdom' and he is, in his own right, a man not to be messed with. With a heart of ice he has no trouble in bring respect back to his family and has no qualms in punishing those who are connected to a traitor.
Now for Diana. I didn't really like her much in Vlad but the way she was portrayed in Ven, she was kick***. I loved her. Even though she was dealing with her own demons and secrets she came out strong, commanding and was able to hold her own. She certainly dominated in this story. All hail the Queen.
The sordid and depraved acts that happen under the Vetrov roof are unbelievable. No one is safe when it comes to Yegor Vetrov. He likes to 'taste' everything.
Webster and Dukey are a powerhouse when they collaborate together just as much as they do when they go solo. Together or singly they have not written a story that I haven't liked or wouldn't recommend. I'm super excited for Vas Volkov's story.
This book has left me feeling many different emotions. I was so looking forward to reading this book after Vlad but the expectations I had were blown apart. This book demonstrated many different more sides to this collective of families. It is violent, fierce, angsty and harsh but it is addictive. I struggled to put this down, I was addicted to see what happened. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
this is book 2 by ms webster and ms dukey who make an amazing duo. ven and diana made me wow at how great there story was, I was captivated and couldn't put this story down. I cant wait to see what this duo comes up with next.
