This had so much promise with the plot line. The abilities of the sisters, the hunters, the characters. Unfortunately it just did not deliver. Started really well, but of information overload which is normal with a new series, but then it kept feeling repetitious and took forever for these two main H’s to stop dancing around each other. I felt no connection to Keeley and thought Kalkin was at times just a bullying a**. The other characters were either likeable or idiots. Kalkin’s twin brother Caden comes to mind. His behaviour towards Daniel (Kelley’s sister) is a whole other matter and obviously another book. When Keeley did the obligatory TSTL act I had had enough. The baddies were spotted in town so she goes walking in the woods all alone. Read through KU.
Ok so for the most part I enjoyed this book and the concept was really good as well. I was a little frustrated with some parts of the story bcos it felt like there were threads weaved into the story and left dangling. While others were wrapped up nicely with a pretty bow 🎁
Spoiler Spoiler spoiler. 💙😁💙😁💚😁😊
what was the point of Kalkin locking evidence in the safe when they never used it? Obviously the end outcome with simon and hazel was heading that way since the beginning. Anyway I will defs purchase the next book bcos I need to know what happens with Dani and Caden the douche
I received a copy of this book and I voluntarily leave my review. I loved this book and it’s the 1st book I’ve read and reviewed for these two authors and now these authors are on my favourites list. This is the story of Keeley and Kalkin, Kalkin is the alpha of his pack and he’s sexy, domineering and protective. Keeley is a strong woman, tough yet fair. When they both clash there’s plenty of action and adventure galore, they both fight against being mates even though they want each other. Fantastic read great characters and storyline and I recommend this book and I know you will love it too.
