I love this series! It has a little bit of everything - action, aliens, superpowers, villains, heroes, romance, suspense, and a bit of darkness thrown in.
This book picks up right where Book 2 left off - with Alithinia/Tori kidnapped by the Government, and her protectors taken by Alandra, Zorc and Arantu. All of them struggle with being captured, and dealing with their captors the best way they can. All realise they have to play the long game, which sadly means some hard and potentially soul damaging decisions need to be made. Now it remains to be seen whether they can hold out until they are rescued, or able to free themselves, and whether they will still be the same on the other side of these dark times.
Once again, I loved the character development and world building. We meet some new players, and get to know other sides of our favourites as well. The new world they find themselves on is artistically created, as are the alien crafts and weapons (although I did have a bit if an eye roll moment with the shooting lasers from eyes - that was just a bit too cliche and unbelievable).
I enjoyed seeing Alithinia grow as she learnt, and start to trust and believe in herself a little more.
The ending was bittersweet - the reasons for which you'll just have to read to find out.
Can't wait for the next book and hopefully for a HEA for all of them.
The Warrior Princess is the third book in the Alinthia Series and continues the story of Alinthia/Tori and her journey of discovering who she is, her gifts and her role in the coming interplanetary war. Destined to save those she loves and those desperately seeking freedom, Alinthia is joined by her four protectors and a growing group of allies as she fumbles towards fulfilling her purpose and does it in spectacular fashion.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the books and at times felt the emotional rollercoaster on behalf of Alinthia and her protectors, which led me to consume the book in a day. I would recommend to those who like Sci-Fi's and New Adult genre's as there are themes and instances that are not appropriate for younger readers. The story itself is well written and keeps you engaged till the very end, it's full of action and moments you find yourself fist pumping the air. I look forward to the next installment.
Wow 😮 what can I say!!! I give this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (that’s 4.5 stars btw) okay so The Warrior Princess is the third instalment to the Alinthia series, unfortunately/fortunately for us the next one isn’t due out until next year! The waiting begins. If you’ve read the first 2 instalments you know that Tori and her guys have been separated and they are faced with many turbulent challenges to get back to each other. Tori learns to control her power but being trained by Zorc will always has its drawbacks. The guys are tortured by Alandra, how is Dane sacrifice going to impact the team? Will Earth survive an attack should Arantu decide to come for Alinthia stay tuned for the next sequel to find out!!!
Tori has been kidnaped by a secret government organisation that kidnaps and tests on aliens. Her men have been kidnaped & trapped by Alandra who intends to break them and make them her own. Tori must find a way to master her powers & escape so she can get to her guys before it’s too late.
Wow, i loved this book and the fact it is RH makes it even better. This author has a great way with words and it really shows in her writing. this whole story was the kind that had me on the edge of my seat.
