This would have to be one of my favourite series - RH or other. Sawyer is a kickass FMC who is broken, but also has an amazing capacity to love and give to other without expecting anything in return. Her team, consisting of Vincent, Elijah, Zander, Jasper and Quinn, all have their flaws but together they are a strong team who can take on anything.
I loved that this book really focused on Quinn- we got to see a lot more of him and learn about his past - something he hadn't even fully revealed to Elijah previously. A lot of things make sense when all is revealed, and Sawyer comes to appreciate how much Quinn understands what she's been through in the past.
Sawyer grows a lot in this book too - finally starting to lower her guard around the team and allow herself to feel more after being shut off for so many years. As she opens up, new possibilities arise that may just change her life forever.
Beautifully written, captures you from page 1 and I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a strong female lead, but also men that complement her strengths, weaknesses and support her through all her trials.
(And I will never look at waterfalls the same again!!)
Kristen Banet has done it again! This book is amazing and I couldn’t put it down, this series just gets better with each book. I love the character development of the guys in this book, Quinn OMG I love more and more as the series goes on, and Vincent I loved him in this books he is more ralaxed and open. The relationships between Sawyer and the guys is developing slowly for some and faster for others, I love that it is paced differently for each of the guys and that they aren’t all going fast. ANOC is brilliantly written and I can’t wait for book four!
Holy hell yes that was so awesome to read. The story, the characters and the world the story is based in had me engrossed and would not let me leave until I finished. The relationships progressed and I loved it.
I feel confident in saying this is the best book yet from this author (and I have enjoyed all of her other work).
We started with political issues with the Magi governing body and a whole lot of hate directed at Sawyer. Add in some blackmail and manipulation and then the team was off on a mission that basically amounted to suicide.
I’ll skip the spoilers and just say that I adored how much Quinn time we got in ANOC. It was fantastic to get so much from his point of view, find out his past and understand his character and motivations.
This book was perfectly paced and gave great character development to even the minor characters. It has been a long time since I’ve been so immersed in a world like this.
If you haven’t already started this series, do yourself a favour and set aside some binge reading time.
Phenomenal read and if I had more stars I would give them.
This book is third instalment in the Redemption series. I absolutely adore Quinn and it was great to finally read about the blooming relationship between him and Sawyer. Sawyer makes a decision that puts her in a difficult position but if played right could mean the IMPO and IMAS back off a bit. Again the team get pulled into a situation whereby they have to clean someone else's mess, but this time you can't be sure everyone returns.
This series just gets better and better. The relationships are developing further and evolving, and the action is non stop. Kristen certainly knows how to write nail biting heart stopping stories. I loved this book and can't wait for the next. Though I've got to say. Zander is an ass in this book and it still doesn't take away from the story that's how well it's written. Highly recommmded
I am really enjoying reading this series, but I have to say this book is my favourite so far. There is so much Quinn, SO MUCH! Woohoo, he's my favourite guy. But now I'm feeling a little sorry for Elijah, he needs to sort himself out. Looking forward to more Sawyer and Sombra in the next book :)
