Rather than reviewing each book individually I decided to rate the series as a whole. It is well-written enough that I bought each succeeding book as soon as I finished the previous one. The theme is consistent throughout and shows the rapid decline from civilization to savagery that follows the nuclear event. Characters were reasonably well fleshed out and realistic (no superheroes) and I was able to empathize with the good guys and cheer when the bad guys went down. All in all an enjoyable read.
Loved all the books in this series! The characters were well developed and the story lines believable-an EMP attack is something that can easily happen, hopefully far in the future! Will there be more books with Elliot, Rayna and their family and friends-the children would be older and play a more developed part. Please can we have more?
