Absolutely loved this book, couldn't get enough, kept saying only one more chapter then I'll stop but each chapter ending kept you so enthralled that you just had to read what came next! Great characters, great story, so looking forward to reading the next book on Tessla and Vale's daughter, with parents like those she sure is going to be an interesting person to get to know! On an aside, I am not young!, so this does suit all ages not just a younger audience. This writer reminds me of writers such as Juliet Marillier or Sara Douglass, she sure has a great future ahead of her and I look forward to reading all her work! So to one woman that lives in the deep forests of Vermont from another woman that lives in the deep forest in Tasmania and sits by the woodstove dreaming I say, well done woman, well done!!

Amazing! Laurie Forest is an incredible author, and isn’t afraid to bring the real problems of the world into play, in this fantastic series. Keep up the amazing work!

Brilliant book! What an amazing world this author has conjured. I honestly couldn’t put it down it had depth, a great story line and it was well written. Definitely recommend and I’ll definitely read it again.
