Becca got her own book. She's the kind of wild friend of Laura from book 3. She's worked as an animal handler for movies and TV but she wants more and is studying to be a vet on a scholarship. Her Professor is gorgeous and while she tells her friend via message what she'd like to do to him, she's unaware that he's seeing those messages too. He's attracted to her and when Becca organises the bachelor party for her friend Jake, Liam, aka Professor Sullivan is there as he's a friend of Jake's. Things get a bit complicated and vague. Alcohol was involved, so that explains a lot of what happens or Becca wonders what happened at least. Liam's not telling, but his smirk in class has her worried. Things progress. They are tempted to act on their attraction, but factor in the jealous fiance of Jake, cats and a granny who might have dementia, but is hilarious, and you have a recipe for chaos. An enjoyable read.
I loved this book!!! Becca Chambers organises her best friend Jakes bachelor party at a strip club. To her surprise she sees one of her professors at the party. She’s not some teenager, she’s a mature aged student who’s 27. Turns out the young and hot Professor Liam Sullivan and her have previously had interactions mainly about inappropriate texts she sent during lectures which he saw which were about him. She finds out that Liam & Jake are cousins. She gets roped into a road trip with Liam to pick up and deliver their grandmother, Grammy, to the wedding because she won’t fly. Grammy smuggles her cat Andrew on the trip too which they don’t discover until too late... The story was absolutely hilarious!
Finally, Becca’s story is here! Becca after years of working in jobs she enjoyed but they weren’t going anywhere, she finally decides to do what she wants...veterinary science. When she walks into one of her classes, Professor Sullivan aka Liam, is doing CPR on a cat! She decides then and there that he will be the man of her fantasies because of his pussy saving hands:) Becca is a hoot and gets herself into a range of awkward positions, especially when she organises her BFF’s bachelor party at a strip club. When she arrives there is a stripper motor boating her Professor! Turns out Jake and Liam are cousins and she never knew......yikes.....so she gets drunk and wake she up the next morning with virtually no memory of the night before!
Loved all the characters in this book, even Grammy was a hoot and had me in stitches:) Loved Liam and Becca together and happy she found her person! (Even with their awkward moments!) This is a must read series, which will have you laughing so hard you will almost pee your pants:)
How can you put into words about a book that was so good that it had you laughing so hard your struggling to breathe and stopping yourself from peeing your pants! This book is well written great storyline that had me in stitches-well probably because I could relate to the main character so much as being a klutz myself and her parents are hilarious! I will be re reading this series definitely in the future-but first I am onto the next book Payback's a bitch (loving the title). Best thing about this series is I thinknyou can pick up each book and read them seperately-but with this one I would recommend reading Too Much Information first (definitely a good laugh so hard your crying style book and so many aww moments too)
I was deliriously happy when I got Becca’s story! I fell in love with her in ‘Too Much Information’.
Becca is smart, a little klutzy and sassy with a whole lotta spunk. And seems to enjoy dreaming of a certain professor. Liam is equally fascinated by Becca and their attraction is instant. Put them together and you get one hell of a story!
There are plenty of laughs as their journey unfolds, the bachelor party, the crazy shenanigans, the commitment ceremony, it was all a laugh a minute and I couldn’t get enough!!!!
I feel like I could continue reading on about Liam and Becca’s journey together, it was that good I couldn’t get enough!!! The wait was definitely worth it! ❤️❤️
From the beginning this book had me in giggles, the hilarious banter back and forth and the off situations that they found themselves in made this book a favourite. Comfort Zone is a Professor / student novel, a rom-com at its best.
Becca decided that It doesn’t matter how old you are when it comes to chasing your dreams, her dream is to become a veterinarian. Having a seriously gorgeous Professor and then finding him at her BFF’s Bachelor party surrounded by strippers is one for the books. Liam has her in his sights, after watching her go wild, he can’t stop thinking about her.
Becca is a carefree woman, at 27 she is going after what she wants. She doesn’t back down anything, including a dare. When faced with possible scrutiny she holds her head high and keeps on going. Liam is loveable and with his witty sarcasm he has Becca eating out of the palm of his hand. The two of them together was a perfect combination for a great book.
The sexual tension was there from the beginning, what started of playful turned off the charts very quickly. They had interruptions which I found to be hilarious that only made their desire towards each other stronger.
Missy has done a great job of bringing Liam and Becca to life in this book. It was a very easy read and one that I didn’t want to put down. I love that we got to hear from both characters and it gave me an higher understanding of Liam and Becca.
If you are after a light-hearted, rom-com with some serious laugh out loud moments then this is the book for you. I personally loved it and the book flowed without hesitation and drew me in further with each chapter. I cannot wait for the next Missy Johnson instalment.
Another terrific laugh-out-loud, smirk-behind-your-coffee-cup read from the talented Missy Johnson! I really enjoyed this book from boisterous start to mind-blowing finish. Some really sexy bits, very well written, and with characters that come alive... This is a book not to be missed!!
