I have to say I loved this series so much already and then I finally got the chance to meet Lynette Noni the other week and I am loving her books even more. She is such a nice person it makes me appreciate her books more so than I did already. I love this world and the characters in it and getting to know Alex's friends and what they have experienced has been amazing. Now onto the last book which has me excited and sad at the same time because like I said I am not ready for the world and story to be over.
A side note : it is amazing to see so many Australian authors write such amazing stories lately.
I absolutely loved We Three Heroes 😍 I am obsessed with the Medoran Chronicles 😆 You're going to be the death of me kitten 😭😭😭 Lynette Noni is an artist and I love her books 📚 Although in Gravele I suspected that she had no soul 💀 But I truely recommend the Medoran Chronicles for any budding bookworm, it burrows into your heart and stays with you forever ❤️ Don't read We Three Heroes until you read Akarnea, Railea, Drakorea and Gravele otherwise SPOILER ALERT 🚨 We Three Heroes is an amazing book it shows you the past lives and the deepest feelings and thoughts of Alex's best friends. Everything I ever wanted to know about D.C, the heart wrenching story of Jordan and what it was like when his brother died and he was claimed and Bears thoughts, feelings and point of view of the incredible events in The Medoran Chronicles 🤤 I loved it and I recommend to anyone and everyone. 😍😘😆🤣😱👍
I love that they got their own book, no matter how short! I loved finding out why Dix acted as she had at the start, I loved finding out how Jordan finally healed and got past his walls to start dating Fix and I absolutely adored Bears story! I love knowing that he wasn't left behind as the other relationships started building and that Declan became more involved! I hope their friendship keeps building and that, maybe one day, they may become more than that!
This is a backstory of the three friends of the hero of the Medoran Chronicles. DC, Jordan and Bear all have quite a lot of trauma in their lives and Lynette Noni is an extremely good writer. I found myself being deeply moved by her writing and am looking forward to reading the rest of the Chronicles.
this book is so good. you really get to know bear, jordan and D.C. their storys are so sad and powerful you will be left crying. i cannot wait for the 5th book in the series. there is no doubt about it this book is a master piece. it has a wonderful mixture of sadness and funny. its definitely worth reading
Its too amazing for words, the WHOLE Medoran chronically book series is and I just cannot wait for Vardesia (however spelt) comes out!!!! Lynette Noni you've done it again, I've shed tears of joy, despair and felt the utter loss and hopelessness but also the fire and will to fight on!!! Also if the thing between Declan and Bear is heading where I feel it is then thank you and God bless you hahaha... Also suuuuuuper keen on seeing how Kaiden and Alex progress--- 😉
This book just made me wanna cry, grab the characters, give them a big hug, and then reassure them that everything will be ok. Big feels and great insight into DC, Jordan and Bear from their own perspectives.
this book blew me away like all of lynettes books. i wish for books gave us character studies of this detail about the characters other than the heroes. this was such a beautiful and amazing exploration of this!
I read Akarnae and Raelia back-to-back and was blown away. I devoured Draekora and Graevale as soon as I could. So you know I was super excited when Pantera and Lynette Noni announced We Three Heroes. Stories told from the POV of Alex’s besties while I’m waiting for Vardaesia to be released, hell yeah!
D.C.’s Story – Crowns and Curses. In this short we get to experience what made D.C. the sassy ice queen supreme we first meet in Akarnae. We then follow her healing journey and see her become the loyal and loving friend we know from books 2-4. Themes: bullying and friendship.
Jordan’s Story – Scars and Silence. At a first glance Jordan appears to be just an adorable cheeky ruffian with cool disappearing powers, but through this short we get to dive deeper into the boy and recover with him as he deals with the blows he received from Aven in books 2-3. Themes: suicide, family expectations, loss of loved one.
Bear’s Story – Hearts and Headstones. I knew from Graevale what was coming but living the battle again through Bear’s eyes still made me tear up. Unlike the previous two stories I didn’t feel I learnt anything new about Bear, but we did get to learn more about Declan’s past. Themes: loss of loved one, strengthening friendships, war.
I really enjoyed this book. It allows us to get to know the side charters better and I think getting a deeper understanding for them will make the final instalment all that more epic! Bring on VARDAESIA!
I still haven’t forgiven Noni for chapter 33 in Graevale, and my forgiveness hinges on three things I hope go down in Vardaesia regarding Bear and Declan, Alex and Kaiden, and a certain MIA winged Draekorian.
Noni’s The Medoran Chronicles are top notch. If you are a fantasy fan of any age or a #LoveOzYa supporter, then they are a MUST READ! The series has it all; action, adventure, a kick ass heroine, fantastic side characters, friendship, humour, romance, deeply built parallel worlds, humans with fantastical abilities and immortal beings.
I’m running off talking about the series aren’t I – oops – and this is supposed to be a review of We Three Heroes. In my defence it is an amazing series and the stories in this book weave through the timelines of the first four books.
Who would enjoy this book: fans of Noni’s Medoran Chronicles. This novella compendium is a MUST for fans of the series, but unless you’ve read the first four books and loved them, it’s not for you – too many spoilers and too many things you need to already know for the stories to flow.
