Loved it. Another of Ms Walker's amazing books in this series. Dare and Wren were gorgeous in this story. I loved the funny scenes and their sizzling chemistry that both fight it but after a year, its gonna explode. A fantastic story-line and written beautifully for these two characters includes some smoking HOT sexy scenes too. I'm totally grabbing the next book. Darren 25 loved his Grandpa so much that he moved in with him to save him going into a nursing home. Expenses for caring mounted up which Darren worked 2 jobs for as well. Curl Up and Dye salon owner Josh offers Darren a promotion to shop manager. Wren 28 yrs also worked at the salon since a year ago, they both disliked each other but secretly Darren fancied him. Darren breaking down on Wren solves some of his problems by moving into the apartment.
Dare and Wren have a shaky start, from the threads flowing through the earlier books in the series. But when they finally connect it’s with so much love and passion, not to mention the constant witty banter. Can’t wait to read more in this series.
Loved reading this book from start to finish. Gave me all the feel good vibes. The writing was on point and the chemistry that we found with these two men in previous books comes out full force and to breaking point in their own story. Dare and Wren have known each other for a year, they started on the same day working in the curl up and dye hair salon, Dare the manager and Wren a hair stylist. what’s not to love about these two guys. Opposites really do attract and nothing was more true with these two. Dare- gorgeous, charming, beautifully natured, kind, romantic, witty, fun, happy and the lover of all things fairy tailed. Wren- sexy, broody, serious, hard to read, But also kind and caring in his own gruff way. On paper both shouldn’t work, but put them in a room together and sparks fly, banter is at its best and when Wren lets his down his steely guard, true feelings emerge. Dare knows exactly who he wants and even though he loves everything to do with fairy tails , doesn’t mind in the least if his Prince Charming rides a hog instead of a horse. Patience is the key and he will do whatever it takes to have his very own albeit slightly skewed happily ever after. I love all books from this talented author and this one was no different. It was emotional, funny, and at times a little sad but it was packed with a whole lot of love and hopefulness. Secondary characters were great and absolutely loved grandpa Ralph. That man was so beautiful I adored him. Do yourself a favour and read this but definitely start at the beginning of this ‘Road to Blissful’ series. You won’t be disappointed. I would go back to where all this magic started and read the ‘Curl up and dye’ series, where we meet the fantabulous Gabe and Josh. Awesome series. Can not wait to read the next instalment.
