Pretty good quality watercolour paper, especially for the value (approx. $12 AUD for a 18x26 cm block of 20 sheets of coldpressed, 300 gsm watercolour paper). It does warp slightly when working, but because it’s in a block, the paper flattens itself out in the drying process, and the warping isn’t enough to cause pooling or anything that could hinder your paint. The actual size is really nice as well; I always found a4 to be too large and a5 to be too small, and this is just in between, leaning a bit towards a4. Overall, it’s a really nice block of watercolour paper, and it’s even better because of the good value.
I have only used the paper a little so will update at a later stage. However, so far, i really like this paper!!! And for the price, its excellent!! Handles water well (doesn't pill or warp) and unlike some hot pressed paper, it stays wet a little longer, allowing you to work with the paints . Really looking forward to working on it more!
I'm a beginner, but I really liked the paper. And the pad which comes with it is really nice. I like that I can paint on the pad and unstick the painting later and give it out as a card. (If you're on the move, you might need a pocket knife or a ruler to separate the sheets.
