It seem like forevvveerrrr since we got book 2 Stone, even though it has only been a few weeks. I have been anxiously waiting this final installment in the series, biting my nails wondering what was going to happen.
WOW, Max Monroe, just WOW!
I knew this was going to be an emotional read after the way Cold ended, but boy oh boy did Max Monroe tear my heart out. My heart literally ached for Ivy, hurt for Levi and I just wanted to hug them and tell them it would all get better.
I also felt so much anger along with Ivy, I just wanted to throw my Kindle at the heads of people whom I felt were doing her wrong - and there were a few of them.
There were some really big WTF moments that completely blew my mind. I was totally not expecting them!
There were also some other things that I kinda guessed along the way, but didn't know for sure until it was revealed.
I adored Ivy and Levi even more than I thought I could after the first 2 books. They have wormed their way into my heart and found a place to live there forever.
Now I can't wait to see what this duo brings us next.
This book alone is great but the entire Stone Cold Fox trilogy hits you right in the feels! I feel blessed to have been able to read this series. Such a bone deep story, such a roller coaster of emotion and so effing well written! I loved it so much - an un-put-downable read all the way through
Fox is the final book in the Stone Cold Fox trilogy by Max Monroe, and the one we have all been waiting for, after that cliff hanger of ending in Cold.
We pick up with Ivy and Levy after those horrible events, and we watch as the story unfolds and everyone deals with the fallout of such tragedy.
I enjoyed this book, but it didn't pack the same punch for me as the first two did. I think because this one is more about moving on moving forward, rather than the intense connection between Levy and Ivy. For me, this was a much lighter read.
Don't get me wrong, its emotional in parts, but it lacked the same intensity as the first two books. I think it was written really well and in such a way that we could all deal with the characters and what had previously transpired.
Levy was fantastic in this book, if at times a little too easy compared to what we're used to from him. But he's exactly what Ivy needs, and one of the few people around her who can totally understand what she's going through.
There are a few little surprises along the way, one of the bigger ones was dealt with fairly swiftly, and possibly could have developed a bit more, but I understood the reasoning behind it being a cut and dry aspect of the book. The main surprise in this book, brings everything together really nicely, and is the perfect ending for these two characters and the perfect way to help them heal.
All in all I think this was a good way to end this trilogy and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I loved this change of pace in stories for Max Monroe and I hope that they write more books like this in the future.
Wow what an emotional end to this trilogy from Max Monroe. As soon as I got the ARC I wanted to dive right in but I also knew that would be start of the end of the emotional ride with Levi and Ivy.
Levi really steps up in this final book and I fell in love with his strength and love for Ivy. No matter what there is nothing these two can't conquer together and this is an ending that will make you happy you braved the rollercoaster that was the making of Levi & Ivy.
Max Monroe have finished this series off perfectly with Fox, it is the perfect balance of emotion to the story of Levi and Ivy picking up after the events that Cold hung on. This duo are an incredible team, this book made me cry, laugh, smile and feel. Stone Cold Fox is a series to read if you want to feel, because you feel everything! The passion, fire, the emotions, I fell in love with these characters, their heartache broke me, their happy ending made me grateful that despite all the fighting, the drama, the events out of their control, love won.
It seems like I’ve waited forever for the final instalment of this trilogy when in fact it’s only been a few weeks. It jumps straight into the tragic events that ended Cold (book #2). I love Ivy & Levi’s story. There were a few surprises that I didn’t see coming. I love this series that is unlike any of Max Monroe’s previous work. It’s been a phenomenal series & I’ve loved every single minute of it. It was heartbreaking & hot, a roller coaster of emotions. Undoubtably the best book in the series.
While I did enjoy this conclusion for the Stone Cold Fox trilogy, I did find that it didn’t have the pace of the first 2 books. I was grateful to find Ivy gave herself the chance to process her grief. I was glad we got to see who Levi’s Mum is now but I thought maybe something more would have come out of that. As for Ivy and Levi’s life and getting married, that went perfectly fitting for their story. Max Monroe still has great writing and I’m looking forward to their future works.
The entire trilogy had me on the edge of my seat. The ‘will they won’t they’ tension betweenness Ivy and Levi, Levi’s story with Grace and of the course the rollercoaster of events that unfolded through our each story.
I wasn’t expecting to feel so much emotion when reading the last book, but I can honestly say my heart bled for Ivy. The conclusion was perfect though, and I loved that Ivy and Levi got the happy ending they deserved.
