Meghan Quinn has done it again! Two Wedding Crashers is Beck's story (the Rebel from Three Blind Dates). When Beck is invited to "crash" a wedding in Key West by his best friend he decides it'll be a good way to help move on from his past. Little does he know that he will meet someone that may help him move toward a future. Rylee is a romance author in a rut, the dreaded writers block giving her drama, so when her friends suggest crashing a wedding to find a cure she figures it can't hurt...right? Cue a disastrous plane ride, wacky girlfriends and the handsome stranger trying to get to know her and you have another rollicking story. Both Beck and Rylee have dark moments from their pasts to deal with, can they deal and move forward together or will those secrets drive them apart?
Omg I have been waiting on edge for this and just finished. I cannot have been anymore thrilled with this crazy adventure that is Two Wedding Crashers! I seriously have never laughed so hard like I did with this story I was holding my stomach and crying at school pick up (thanks for making me look like a crazy hot mess) from crashing one wedding to going to Vegas and rekindling tradition and crashing a few more. Then of course I have to turn into a sappy sook when Vegas doesn’t end the way Vegas should! This book was absolutely perfect in every way! I fell in love with Beck in Three Blind Dates but holy crap way to make a girl swoon!
If you want the alpha, the swooning, the absolutely pain in your stomach laughter and all the right words this is the book for you!!
I loved this book, it was written with Ms Quinn's usual flair, she makes us laugh, swoon, sigh & fall in love with her characters.
We met Beck as a contender for Noely's heart in book 1.
Book two sees him fly off to Key West to crash a wedding. Fate steps in & places his unicorn girl on his flight, in his room & pretty much everywhere he goes, but he isn't complaining. Except when it's time to say goodbye & they both have to return to virtually opposite sides of the country.
With their pasts, secrets hidden & the distance working to keep them apart can they beat the odds & get their happily-ever-after.
Meghan Quinn is one of my favourite authors (EVER!) and Two Wedding Crashers is the perfect example of why. It’s billed as a romcom and it definitely hits the mark here; I laughed out loud countless times, I shared some of my favourite scenes with my husband and online buddies, and I spent almost all of the book with a huge smile on my face. But as Meghan is so good at, she manages to make this so much more than a hilarious romance novel - it’s got so much heart and soul that you can’t help but be caught up in all the emotions that this book will make you feel; and there’s a lot.
Rylee Ryan and Beck Wilder meet by chance when they are both invited by their respective friends to crash a wedding in Key West (and as an Aussie I had no idea where this place was, but now I do it looks awesome and I want to go there!!). What ensues is a chemistry-laden week of flirting, getting to know you, holiday experiences to die for, souvenir shopping (Pearl aka Turtle Titty Tata and Hunky Merman bottle openers 😂😂😂😂), and eventually one of the hottest sex scenes ever 🔥🔥🔥 But all good things must come to an end.... or do they?? Surely living on opposite sides of the country - Beck in LA and Rylee in a tiny town in Maine - means that any relationship they could potentially have is over before it could even start. Well not if Beck has anything to say about it... 😉
What follows is one of the most beautiful - and yes still hilarious - love stories I have read FULL STOP (so not this month, or this year, I mean ever!!). Beck and Rylee both have pasts that could easily stand in the way of a relationship that is already practically impossible due to the miles between them. And yet, there’s something between the two of them - more than lust, more than chemistry, an undeniable connection that you don’t find every day. And it’s this connection that will have you turning every page desperate to know what happens next. Rylee is one stubborn, head-strong woman who I absolutely adore. And Beck, what can I say?! He’s swoon-worthy, romantic, considerate, kind, hot as all hell, and he has a heart of gold. So he’s the type of guy every woman - and a lot of men - will fall in love with.
Finally, the supporting cast in Two Wedding Crashers are some of the best I have read in ages! From best friends who are equal parts hilarious, supportive and will tell it like it is to a family of four brothers who believed they are cursed when it comes to love (and we better get their books Ms Quinn!!) - you will never feel like the story is lacking even when Rylee and Beck don’t share a state, let alone the pages in the book.
I absolutely LOVED Thee Blind Dates - book 1 in this Dating by Number series - and Two Wedding Crashers has totally eclipsed that. Which is no mean feat at all! But this book, Rylee and Beck and their incredible love story - it’s one of my top reads of 2018 and one of my favourite books EVER! So what that means for the final book in this series - One Baby Daddy (coming in May) - well the bar is set incredibly high, and I can’t wait to see what Meghan delivers!!
Two Wedding Crashers will crash into your heart, eat the free food and dance the night away!! This is a story - a couple - you won’t forget in a hurry!
Meghan Quinn does it again! In the follow up move, to Three Blind Dates, Megan takes us on the journey of one of the two remaining suitors from that book, and boy is it one hell of a ride. Also, cue the swooning.
The two main characters meet by chance because they’re both convinced by their friends to come along and crash a wedding they’re attending.
Of course, once they meet, the following story ensues with a tonne of hilarious banter, with a glimpse of some angst underneath that both character feels within themselves. I guessed one of the secrets and the other I was fairly close to, although there were more ideas running through my head with that one.
This book is very light hearted and fun to read until the last part of the book. Part 4. This is where everything comes to a head and oh my gosh there are a lot of feels here. I was holding back the tears.
I loved the banter between the characters, and the feelings they inspired in each other. I loved the secondary characters (here’s to hoping some of them get their own novels too), and this whole storyline was just a huge amount of fun. I loved everything about it and the ending was perfect.
Highly recommend this one and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next book in this series!
Two Wedding Crashers by Meghan Quinn is the second standalone romance in her Dating By Numbers series. An amazing and full story of two people with pasts and secrets that meet in Key West, take some risks, have some fun, and go their separate ways only to be pulled back together again my the emotions that developed in their brief few days together.
The story is complex without being complicated, intricate without being messy and funny while also being extremely emotional. Being fairly new to reading this author I absolutely adore her writing style. The quirkiness of her characters, the depth of the story but also the funny moments that keep it from being too angst-ridden.
Beck is a fun-loving, carefree seeming guy that just truly enjoys his days and all that life throws at him. An artist with a dark past and deep secret he lives for today and with care for other people.
Rylee is a little more uptight. A romance author who has lost faith in the concept of love, she finds Beck a welcome distraction that she tries not to enjoy but with his persistence and charm can't help but fall for. But Rylee also has a secret of her own.
Can Beck overcome her secret and can she look past his dark secret? I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Well-written and NOT a quick read. Definitely one you want to settle in for. Enjoy!
I sometimes get anxious when starting a second book in a series. Is it going to be as good as the first? Will I connect with these characters? Is the story line going to captivate me the whole way through? Let me easy everyone’s anxiety, it is a big fat YES to all of the above!
I loved that the book was in four parts. Each one representing a stage in their relationship. I was excited to read they were heading to Key West, a favourite spot I have holidayed at. I felt like I was with them scooting down Duval Street, doing the shuffle. There were so many things I loved about this book, and Beck was a major highlight. After coming away from his blind date in book one, he had things he needed to sort through. He has a past that he doesn’t often share. And maybe that’s why he connected so quickly with Rylee. They bought out a fun side to each other, but I think they could also sense the sorrow each had suffered. I adored Beck’s vulnerability and treasure his mantra of living in the moment. Rylee had a cool job, she’s a writer of rom-com’s. I feel her natural sass and wit helps her publish number one bestsellers, and why Beck gave her the nickname Saucy, so cute. I’m not sure if her home town is real, but I sure want to go visit now and try the fudge! There is also plenty of banter and flirting and a ton of humor which is right up my alley.
This is a standalone, told in dual POV, and can easily be read by itself. These two characters are backed up with some amazing best friends that will make you laugh and melt your heart with their devotion. I do recommend you read the first book, as each of them is fabulous.

It was nice to see Beck get his HEA after we met him in Three Blind Dates. Rylee was the perfect mix of quirky and hilarious that he got along with perfectly. Even though they had some bad histories to share, and Rylee took some convincing that everything would be ok, they had some laughs along the way.
Another amazing book by Meghan Quinn. I laughed out loud and really enjoyed these characters. Very funny. Although this book could work as a stand-alone I would suggest reading the first book in the series first. Can’t wait for book three.
