Growing up in Utah, Luke, Adam and Liv were once very close friends. But Adam won the girl and a disappointed Luke moved away to Denver. Now he is back to attend Adam's funeral. On the very day that Liv has to bury her husband, she discovers she is pregnant. Estranged from her in-laws and without a home or a job, Liv is in despair about how she will cope. After the funeral when Adam reconnects with Liv, he consoles her and in a moment of weakness, offers her a home with him. So Liv moves to Denver with Luke. There are many awkward moments when it feels like things are more than just friends, but they are both too afraid to admit it. Accompanying Luke home for Christmas, their feelings for one another are finally revealed. But an incident from the past could derail their happiness. A great read.
What did I like or dislike is what Amazon asks... I loved everything and disliked nothing about this book. The blurb sucked me in and the book hooked me and kept me there. I loved every character! I was invested in every single part of this book felt I was part of their lives, feeling their pain, their happiness and their love.. this book is love in writing.
