I am very happy with the performance of this processor. Just make sure that if you purchase a 3xx series motherboard that it has had its firmware updated before you buy it or upgrade its CPU, because older chipsets will not boot with a Ryzen 2 CPU with old firmware. We got caught by this and had to buy a new motherboard.
Multitasking is a breeze now, the CPU never maxed out apart from in benchmarks and I can have Chrome and any games open at the same time without any problems, stock cooler runs a bit hot but that is easily fixed with an AIO, for $260 this was a steal and I'd recommend it it anyone with a older CPU. I swapped from a i5 6500, and this blows it away in percore performance and fixed the mouse lag I was experiencing ingames with my 6500. 10/10
Beats Intel CPU's for value for money and has better performance than Intel. Out of the box, it's over-clockable and has a better stock cooler/heat-sink. If I knew new AMD CPU's where on the horizon I might have waited until the prices fell even further, but I did not have my usb powered crystal ball at the time!
