I started to read this and then stopped fearing I'd be too disturbed. But then I started again and am really glad I did. Bri tells her story in an intelligent, clear and wholly genuine manner. I learned a lot about a lot and it makes me feel validated about my own feelings about men's actions against me, which while not quite of the ilk Bri experienced, have soiled my life. Decent men and women alike hope there will be a time when being a human with female genitalia does not trigger a complete disregard for our value in the minds of people with sly, dishonest, narcissistic and arrogant tendencies. This book like moves us further in that direction.
