Repetitive story developing at a snail’s pace
6 April 2019
The headline says it all. I wrote this review to counter the 3+ star ratings of this book. I only paid $2 for this book to try out the author. Very disappointing tedious read. This book is purported to be an “action-thriller”, but action is hard to find and thrill is completely missing unless one is of the excitable type. Too many pages hark back to events in the previous book. Easy for the author, boring for the reader. The plot is promising, but ill developed , convoluted with implausible relationships and action or rather non-action. Too much talking in circles. The author is clearly struggling to hold the story together thereby literally loosing the plot himself. A waste of reading time and even money.
