This book has captured my heart. I love all that is Sally and Sol, and the way they fell in love. They show that there is somebody out there for everyone, no matter how impossible that might seem at times. The beach house was full of charm and character (and possibly a friendly ghost) and the gorgeous kitten was the icing on the cake. This is the second book in this series and is just as delightful as the first. I can't wait for book three!
Sally likes safety and security. She's living in a big house at Bondi Beach, which is also the place she runs her business from. These days it's mostly just Sally and her twin sister Sonia. When Sonia travels to Hawaii she leaves a parting gift for her sister, an advertisement in a local paper that will send clients to Sally's door she'd rather not receive. However, one of those clients isn't interested in the actual execution. Sol arrives at the house to ask Sally for scientific information. After a rocky start Sally is more than happy to give it to him. Will the arrival of his studious man change Sally's future forever?
Beach Music is a fabulous story about true love. I was immediately intrigued by Sol. He's a wonderful intelligent man. He loves animals, he cares about people and he's thinking about his calling in life and what he can contribute. Sol and Sally are both serious people, but together they have a lot of fun. I loved how they understand one another and I enjoyed watching their sparkling friendship and amazing chemistry. They are a perfect romantic couple and I enjoyed every single page of their story.
Annie Seaton has written another heartwarming love story. I love the way she makes her main characters shine. She uses their flaws to make them unique and charming and because of that their good personality traits become even more profound. She instinctively gets relationships and that is something I absolutely love about her stories. They're vibrant and entertaining with plenty of energy. Beach Music is a terrific story that truly sparkles.
BOOK REVIEW Beach Music by Annie Seaton Genre : Fiction romance Characters: Sally Smith Sonia Smith Rosie Brown Taj Brown Solomon Brown Dave Mac Aunt Aggie Muggins the cat Otis the Silver Weimaraner
This novel tells the story of twin sisters Sally and Sonia sharing a beach house in Bondi. Along with their friend Rosie whose Aunt Aggie originally owned the house. Rosie is married to Taj Brown and they have 4 year old twins. Taj is a surfer and they travel the surfing circuit. Sonia and Rosie decide to head to Hawaii for a holiday and try to entice Sally who has just gone through a separation from a boyfriend to go with them but she declines and would prefer to stay at home. Sonia decides to try and loosen her sister up a bit by playing a trick on her. She places an Ad in the Bondi View. Solomon Brown reads the ad and is very interested. It tells him to contact Sally after 5.30 pm. Sally tries to tell him the ad is not hers but rain and storms intervene so she lets him into the beach house. He is amazed by the house and Sally. Much as they both don't want to get involved with each other there is an attraction. Sally is invited to drive to the farm that Sol is house sitting at and their friendship grows to the state that they both play tricks back on her sister Sonia. When Sally asks Sol to move into the house another part of the trick things just go from tricking to natural attraction for each other. Such a truly amazing story that I could not put down. Would recommend this novel to anyone who likes a bit of spice in their life. This is Book 2 in the series so get Book 1 first to start then continue the saga you will not be disappointed
I’m loving the Bondi Beach series! Sally Smith is content with her life yet her twin sister, Sonia, thinks differently based on her Tarot cards. Sol Brown is working on his doctorate and sees an advertisement that is going to help him with his research. The attraction between Sally and Sol feels so real, the story is very well written and there is a hard to love dog that eats the interior of Sally’s car. Too funny. Ms. Seaton is absolutely an Author that I love to read. I highly recommend to everyone.
Beach Music is a great title for this quality crafted romance. Like a song that stays with you all day, I found myself thinking of these two until I could finish their story. As always, Annie Seaton painted a lovely background for their tale. I also loved the rescue dog. Looking forward to the next Bondi Beach Book.
