I normally love books by this author, but this one, not so much. Natalia and Hunter meet through their best friends. Natalia's marrying Hunter's best friend. He wants to spend the night with her, but she gives him the wrong phone number and that is that. Nine months pass before they see one another again. Again, she gives him the wrong number. Okay, I can understand with her past, a lying ex husband who is in prison and the debt he's left her with, plus she has custody of his daughter who seems to resent her for a long time, things have not been easy and she doesn't trust men. I get that, but it all felt a bit dragged out for me. It was only towards the end that the truth with Hunter's behaviour came out. I kind of guessed it was leading to something with the way the story kept going back a decade or so. It wasn't a bad story, but it wasn't my favourite.
