Like I said before Belle Brooks you are a master of Intrigue. Five Fights was everything that the other four books have lead up to in the Game Of Life Series. A phenomenal final chapter to and absolutely mind blowing series that left me riveted to my chair and the pages I was reading. Still not knowing until the very end made this a book you had to finish no matter what.
Moving away from my comfort zone with a different genre Five Fights and the whole Game Of Life Series was not something I expected to take too. (Expect the unexpected) Theories I had kept changing right along with how the book would actually end. Who is The Wolf? Who is The Rat? Will Red live or die? All the questions I needed answers to in the most dramatic finale I have had the pleasure of reading, and still the final question is not answered until the very last chapter. The twists and turns always in play and the sheer brilliance of this amazing Authors mind will have you in awe of her talent. If you love an edge of seat thriller, you will be in seventh heaven with this book and series.
Ah, I have waited so patiently for this final book in The Game of Life series and now it's here, so exciting to find out who the Wolf and partner are in the story. It continues on directly from where Book 4 finishes.
Morgan is exhausted and feeling totally worn down and ready to give up. The Wolf is sure she perished in the fire. The police are about to continue to comb the bushland hoping to locate Morgan. Reid is still waiting while his stomach is tied in knots.
The excitement and drama continues and doesn't stop. The descriptions of scenes and characters are vivid, they clearly enable you to not only visualise the story but feel each emotion as well. For example.."A million ants march inside me, pinching my internal organs."
I only guessed the identity of The Wolf when reading this book, Belle Brooks is a mistress of mystery and her woven puzzle of words is brilliant. She keeps you on the edge of your seat right to the end, will Morgan survive or not?
This amazing book concludes The Game of Life series and is every bit as good as the other four books, I urge you to read this series as it is one of the best I've ever read. Thank you to this fantastic author for such an entertaining and exciting series
Wow that is the one word that keeps replaying over and over again my head after finishing this series of books. This genre is not something that I normally read, and I was quite interested in reading something that is totally new to me. But Belle Brooks has broadened my interest because I loved the thrilling series and loved the not knowing what was going o happen in the story. I loved the adrenaline rush I received in the book and the anxiety that the story built in me each page. Thank you, Belle Brooks, for expanding my interest and giving me a new genre of books to enjoy reading.
Belle Brooks has once again written a magnificent series with the Game of Life series, Five flights concludes this adrenaline pumping series. Belle Brooks has managed to create a series that centres around things that scares us all. To be taken by someone and facing the fact that we might never go home to the people that we love. The way that the author does this is incredible well done because I feel like it's a television series playing in my head as I can conjure up the pictures of what is happening in each part of the story. I could feel the panic and determination Morgan was feeling as she fought to live. This story left me on the edge of my seat to the very last page with the twists and turns that kept on coming.
I absolutely am in two worlds at the moment; happy that the game has come to an end but sad that it has finished. Belle Brooks has delivered a phenomenal conclusion to this five-part psychological series. It was brilliantly executed and the ending was well worth the wait.
This conclusion finally leaves you room to breathe again. What a fight to the death it was. Morgan’s determination is inspiring and the love she has for her family is what keeps her alive and sane. However, you do find out who The Wolf is and hold onto the tailspin that is coming your way because I didn’t see that coming at all.
I highly recommend this series to everyone who loves a psychological cat and mouse games. Well crafted Brooks.
In Five Fights we get to hear more POV’s than the ones we’ve have heard so far – those of Morgan, Reid and The Wolf. In this final book, it is the voice of Detective West, the man that The Wolf has fancied himself pitched against, that we hear as he works to find Morgan before the game ends.
Right up to this point, Belle Brooks has kept me in a frenzy of reading, of trawling back through the books, looking for the smallest of clue, for a person in the wrong place with the vaguest excuse, and I had my theories, and my suspects. I was closer than I realised, I just didn’t know WHY. WHY?
This is absolutely and without a doubt the most twisted of series that I have EVER read. And I loved it!
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This is the final instalment of the 'Game of Life Series by the amazing Belle Brooks. WOW!!! What an ending, did not see that coming at all...What a cliff-hanger of a suspense story. Absolutely loved this series, it grabbed you by the heart and didn't let go. Your heart was in your throat and if the characters could hear you screaming, you would at the top of your voice! This book kept you enthralled until the very end! You really have to the read this amazing ending.
What an explosive finale... l was really desperate to finally get answers, so many questions, so many suspects, and not a single clue. As each story was told, and Morgan's torture escalated, so did my anxiety. All the different law enforcement officers, family members, friends, collegues, there were so many possibilities, l was desperate.
What an evil and cruel man the Wolf is. So many deaths behind him, 12 innocent victims, all leading up to Morgan. Morgan is strong, she has a steely determination to survive, hallucinations of her children , of her husband help her to hold on. But for how long ? She has endured so much physical and mental torture that her body is begging for relief, she just wants to sleep...
As the race to find Morgan picks up speed, so does Reid's stress levels. He is desperate for answers, he wants to get his hands on the man and give him his brand of justice.
What an explosive ending, my heart was racing like crazy, like l had expected, l had no idea who the Wolf and his accomplice was. l feel like l have ran a marathon reading The Game Of Life series. A very well written, very exciting and thoroughly enjoyable thriller. l loved it all.
Reid’s left wondering what is happening while they search for his wife. The Wolf is left waiting to sunrise to find his latest prize – Red. We learn from the police that they want Morgan to be found and send out a team to bring her back and their suspect. Questions are answered, you find out whether you were right or wrong with who you though the wolf was. An amazing series by this author that keeps you intrigued with each book. There are twists and turns that you won’t see coming, and you won’t expect, you, everyone is a suspect, some you think are ruled out but then your given more clues. The author keeps you intrigued until the final page.
