Whilst reading this book it occurred to me that my views and values HAD changed a great deal since I started following Nia’s “Lift like a girl” strength training programs (back in August 2015) I now prioritise gym time. I have stopped weighing myself daily. I no longer worry about carb intake. I walk into the gym like I own it. I can feel the strength in my back, legs and arms and I’m surprised as to how organic my life feels now. I can never go back to how I lived prior to this. I have gifted this book to my 19 year old daughter. I know she is in good hands now. Thanks to “lift like a girl” I have plenty to be thankful for.
A straight forward, no-nonsense guide to being fit, healthy and strong for lift. Great advice on nutrition that I applies to the whole family, an easy to follow strength training program, and insight into the importance of mindset in implementing and consistently following the program. Highly recommended
