Too many un-felt deaths.

Rogue is a mindless splatter of killing, with countless bodies on just about every page. There is also a very obvious layer of 'product placement' throughout the book, with a host of Coke cans and that awful US TV so-called news show 'Fox News'. The writer changes from US spellings to UK spelling quite frequently and he uses the word 'careening' when he means 'careering': he doesn't appear to know the difference.
In sum, I found the book tiresome for its immorality with regard to human life. We readers of thrillers expect there to be a goodly dose of killing in the story, but mindless, unfeeling killings by the 'goodies' soon begin to gall.
