I was unsure about this book but I'm glad to say that I had nothing to be concerned with. was wrong. It was completely thrilling and will keep you glued to every page until you have finished it.
With a deliberate slow start you become firmly hooked on the plot and the leading character. Once the action starts, it never lets up — and you are actively cheering for the so-called “bad guy” to survive and thrive.
The invisible master is the “deep state.” The government has a kill list and their is one in particular that needs to be killed as soon as possible. Enter in someone who has gone through brainwashing... I won’t provide any spoilers but think Bourne Identity meets Red Sparrow...
This book has so many twists and turns that you never quite guess what is going to come next. I'm on to the next book of the series and highly recommend reading ‘Rogue’.
