I wish this book was longer, it was a great read that I couldn’t put down! I loved the way this book explored the future of biotech and the implications of our patent system, artificial intelligence and increasingly powerful capitalist organisations. This is cyberpunk re-imagined with what we’ve learned, and haven’t learned over the last 30 years.
Lots of lovely ideas about biotech, property law and gender, but a clunky plot that has too many convenient appearances of characters seemingly designed to keep things moving . Overall lots of fun. I look forward to future work from this author.
