Reading this really changed a lot for me. For starters I feel a lot less crazy. I've always known I was sensitive but mostly it just felt like I felt too much. Suffered always. The pain of others was my own and it just broke my heart every day. Just reading and understanding about boundaries was a life changer. That putting some distance and taking care of my self was ok. I used to feel so guilty if I didn't try to understand someone's pain fully and help.
