I was lucky to get this on promotion & I wasn't disappointed. As an Aussie I appreciated the references to places in our country & where I had travelled to before. I like how it dealt with the friendliness of the country towns, the people , the attractions, distances, quirkiness & the down right odd characters that inhabit our land. To get to the story. Evelyn came to Australia in the '90's & came home pregnant. On her death bed she makes reference to her travels & one man in particular. Libby goes to find him hoping he is her dad. The one she never knew. I loved both their journeys over time & the friends they make on their way. There is a good twist one I didn't see coming. It is a very touching & heartwarming & I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hannah Ellis has blown me away with this story, it sucked me right in. Being an Aussie, I'm a tad biased towards my place of origin. The characters stole my heart and I didn't see it coming when it was revealed who her father was.
