I have an Australian Lockwood deadlock currently on my door a i live in Australia. The tail is short in the deadlock unlike the long one shown in the simulation and does not say how to manage such locks. Basically only works on single cylinder deadlocks not double cylinders which most Australians use. I guess this product is built specifically for common American deadlocks.
I have purchased the Smart Lock Pro as well as the Keypad, and it worked reasonably well for a few months. The fair pros / cons are below, but the headline is that after 3 months the lock doesn't engage my deadbolt, and the company will provide no refund, replacement or fix as I am outside the US / Canada. Of course, they had no issue selling it to me via Amazon out of country. I'd say the build quality is average at best and the warranty is extremely short considering the high use and importance of item for security.
- Relatively straightforward to set up - Auto unlock works well most of the time, backup keypad always available - Easy to lock on exit with keypad one-button press
- It broke after 3 months, deadbolt doesn't engage anymore - Auto lock doesn't engage well unless door is 100% flush - Connect needs a 2.4Ghz wifi network and has had some major connectivity issues in the past (won't connect for days, until router is reset) - Opening with app takes quite a long time, to establish connectivity either over Bluetooth or Wifi, so ended up only using keypad or auto unlock feature - No integration with 'Ring' app for video doorbell
So far so good. Only got it tonight put it on and it's all working correctly. However my google home wont seem to unlock or lock the door even though I've linked the accounts. Other than that all good.
