Oh my goodness. Ms Arran has done it once again and given us a great finale to a series whilst whetting our appetite for the next linked book. How she keeps everything fresh and interesting but keeps the back-story plot alive and the characters entertaining and likeable is superb. I really suggest reading this series in order to get the best of this book but it will still be an enjoyable read if you have not read the previous books and make you want to get them to read. What a fantastic well written story that made me keep reading till the end to find out what was going to happen next and who was behind the attacks against Heartsridge. Wonderful having everyone working towards saving Tom and stopping the threat against Heartsridge. Cannot say more without giving anything away so read it for yourself. Heather defines the expression strength through adversity. How she learns her own self-worth and what she needs to make her life her own choices. Nate is still the joker of the bunch but his softer side comes through, especially when he interacts with Heathers young son Jack. Loved how patient he was with Heather but let her know he would always be there for her. So many directions for Ms Arran to go in, eagerly awaiting the next book from this author. This is my honest review of this book.
Another fantastic story from Olivia. Heather was married to Toby the psyco who tried to take over Heartsridge and destroy the shifters. He also used and abused Heather. Now that Toby is dead Heather has some freedom but is wary of men in general, but Nate knows that she is his Mate and is willing to go slow and careful until she can accept him. He loves Heather and her adorable little boy Jack and tries hard to show her that he loves and respects her and will never hurt or abuse her. And the Purity nuts are back and the shifters have to find them and their leader Silus. They also need to find Tom; Julie's mate; a shifter who went missing and is presumed kidnapped by the Purity nuts. Then Heather makes some astonishing discoveries about Toby and the understanding of the shifters about the Purity groups; who was the leader and who did the thinking for the groups turns about. There is another battle; Tom is rescued and Heather accepts that she is Nate's Mate and give him the "Green Light" for the mating. I received an Advanced copy of this book and am freely and voluntarily writing this review.
