This story would have been very hard to write and believe me my mouth was opened most of the time I was reading, we hear of stories about the way some men in certain cultures treat woman but reading the horrific details of what you suffered broke my heart. I will never understand the way your parents never heard your cries for help or questioned the obvious markings on your body, the phone call between your mum and .............? she just believed all the crap he told her this alone proved she was not a good person both parents need to held accountable and I feel so much anger towards them especially your mum, I am so angry that these animals feel it is ok to violate a child, with such hate cruelty & abuse. Will any of them be tried in a court of law for what they have done or will anybody else who didn't do a thing to help you be punished. My wish for you and your girls is to one day feel safe and hopefully for you to enjoy the rest of your life in peace. I admire your strength and courage and I am sure your story will encourage more girls maybe now woman to come forward.
Ive been interested in the social politics for a while seeing as how this crazy world is self imploding with political correctness im a father with children and after reading some statistics on this problem of grooming i wanted to educate myself to see the signs. This book was disturbing to read but the truth often is. I thank the author for her story and i felt disgusted with the parents and thr social services for allowing this to carry on. I think fathers and mothers should be aware of the other side of life and spot the signs.
I chose this rating as Caitlin's story needs to be told and heard. What a life she had and not being able to get out. Thank goodness she eventually got someone to listen and at last can have some sort of life without abuse and rape. Thank you for sharing it all Caitlin.
Brave and atrong. Brutal but honest. Cried at times about the abusw. Brilliantly told and to the point. She is an amazing person who is very strong and sounds like a brilliant mum. Great support too. Must read.
