4.5 Stars Book 11 in this awesome series is focused on Angus, who we met in Red Wolf, and Tamsin a new character... This one take a break from the usual "shiftertown" and I must admit I liked that, we got introduced to some new characters amongst some of the previously mentioned and favourites of mine, like Tiger, Ben and Zander! I wasn't sure at first how I'd like Angus but he won me over so quick with his sweetness that he hid behind his hot alpha quietness, not usually a man of a lot of words and his blushing, gah it made him even hotter!!!! Tamsin was such an interesting character with all her quirkiness and optimism which suited her shifter animal perfectly, you couldn't help but love her. I really liked the twist of her origins, didn't see that coming but I liked it! Lots of adventure and close escapes going on in this book and I enjoyed it all, I really hope that Ben gets a book somewhere along the line, he really deserves his own HEA. This series just keeps getting better and better and I hope we have many more books to enjoy in it. Looking forward to the next one that features Tiger and Carly again (yay my favourites)...... which says a lot for the series as I usually don't like more than one book per couple in a series but I honestly soak up any mention of Tiger!! Overall a fabulous addition to the series and I look forward to one-clicking the next one!
Another great story in this series but I am wondering why some old favourites still are not getting their story and HEA before some of these new faces. The fact we have a few well loved faces, especially Tiger and the sentient house in this book makes it a great read. Liked Angus and his cub Ciarin and thought Tamsin was the perfect mate/mother for them both. The fact Tamsin turns out to be something unique was lovely and hope this plays into the future of these wonderful shifters. Hate the ratbag shifter bureau kidnapping a child and using him as leverage to make someone do their bidding. Cannot wait for the day these shifters are freed from the collar bonds. The way this series is shaping up I hope the Fae attack and take on the humans, who will then NEED these shifters they have persecuted to save them.
