Bit different from her other books but still enjoyable..did remind me a little of a Mills and Boon sexy books but with shifters.. There was a mix up with Stavros and Leo.. Stavros walked in on Andrea hurting Lissa at start of book but then it was Leo who had an attitude with her so i got a little confused... then at end of book it was Leo who had walked in on them...
A story of being tricked into leaving a Greek Were Alpha and how this can be resolved. The interaction with the baby is an endearing addition to the folklore that is part of the paranormal genre. a relaxing read
Quicky but a goody filled with drama, action and romance. This whole story wouldn't have happened if the main characters listened and spoke to one another. Story was definitely crafter by a talented writer.
Greek pride, arrogance, lack of communication and a nasty, meddling alpha bitch dominate this story. I really understood where Melissa was coming from and even though she did try to tell Garin what was happening with Andrea she could have been more forceful when she was brushed aside. Lack of communication. Melissa is human and surrounded by wolves and in a situation she knows or understands little about. No one explained to Melissa about wolf matings and she is at a loss, not understanding the power she wields. Pride and arrogance abound in this alpha male. Galen is very cold towards Melissa and whilst I really can understand how hurt he must have been, he never really asks why she ran. He then interacts with Andrea in a way that makes one believe he is involved with her. The pack knows this cannot be as Melissa is his mate but Melissa is ignorant of facts and is fed more lies by Andrea. You never get his thoughts or point of view but I just couldn't warm to him at all due to his behaviour. I did love when Melissa caused a scene in the restaurant. This is the first book in a new series but I am not sure where it will be going unless it will be Leo, Perrin and Stavros. Perrin and Stavros at least acted kindly towards Melissa. This is my honest review of this book.
A great book, deep, full of emotions. The author is one of my favorites ever. I got the book and read it in one sitting and like always the author didn't disappoint me. I always know when I read one of Ms Kyle's books it will be full of adventures, twists, a wonderful plot and even when it seems a darker shade of her usual not so dark stories there is laughter to find in some paragraphs and always humorous situations like in this book. I wt with the heroine and laught when she put the Alpha in his place aka the doghouse via Doctors Order from his brother. Usually I like to skewer the villain but the one in this book has my pity. This is a standalone books without a cliffhanger just like all her books and I hope to read more about the Liakos pack.
This might be a book about romance but it is also a book about the importance of communication. There were also too many misunderstandings because Lissa didn't know enough about werewolves and didn't ask Galen the right questions. A nice enough story.
