I love this author, one of my favourite ever authors, so I will never hesitate to read/one click her books. You must read Caged and chained before you read this one to completely understand Anderson, and why he is like he is. I for one love him and all his issues! When the last book finished my heart ached so much for Anderson and I wondered how he would cope without Kloe. He did cope in his own way and of course had Sam to bring up, so he was Anderson's one and only priority. I didn't think I could love him anymore, but I do now! Jeanie is a new character to this series and she is Sam's nurse when he is admitted to hospital. Unfortunately Jeanie's life is in grave danger, when Anderson finds this out he wants to keep her safe. (I certainly wouldn't mind him keeping me safe that's for sure!!!) As much as I really liked this book I wanted so much more. I know it's a novella and it's not a full length novel but the characters are so complex and unique, that for me I wanted and needed more. I felt the end came far too quickly. It was a book that I could have stayed stuck in for a long time. I know I might be just being a tad selfish and greedy for wanting more but Dawn has always had this way of sucking me in to her stories to the point where I feel like I'm living them too. I was just starting to live and feel this and then it was over. I well and truly spat my dummy out I wanted to keep swiping across for more!! If you have read books 1 and 2 then you really need to read this! If you haven't then what are you waiting for??
The third book in the Caged series and we get the chance to meet up again with the delectable, sexy hot all alpha male Anderson once again. Dawn certainly knows how to write her leading men and Anderson is up there in the top five.
We catch up with Anderson two years after the death of Kloe - he has moved on to a certain extent but he misses her dreadfully. Their son Sam is now his main priority and all his love goes into him, so when Sam falls ill Anderson is beside himself with worry, but finds a friend in Jeanie; the nurse assigned to look after Sam in hospital, he feels a connection between the both of them but Jeanie has big problems of her own to deal with without Anderson interfering with her life.
I so love the character of Anderson, he has that luscious dark side to him that makes him so addictive to read, so alpha, so sexy with a mouth to die for, strong and at times harsh, he has a big heart deep down and I do love this man.
Jeanie was an interesting character and she has some real problems that were fascinating to follow and if there is one small criticism with this book; for me - it just wasn't long enough and it felt slightly rushed, and I do feel that these characters and their story would have benefited with a much more detailed story so we could explore and enjoy them even more.
This is a compliment to Dawn, because her writing and her characters are always so interesting and captivating to read that I never want her books to end, I could have read this story forever as she brings her characters to life and into your hearts each and every time, and you never forget them. Anderson and Kloe will always remain in my heart. A fantastic series not to be missed. !!
I was really looking forward to reading this book as I love Dawn’s work! She never fails to disappoint. This is no exception. I will say though I did feel a little sad, as I felt it was rushed. I think I just wanted more. I do love how the story was written and loved the overall story.
I loved Anderson Cane and at the end of the second book I thought was his story finished? Could there be more? Will his relationship with Robbie be enough? So when Bound arrived I was excited to see if he would get more. I feel when he meets Jeanie after his son Sam is admitted to hospital, the romance happened a bit fast. This is all new to Anderson. Is a new relationship what he wants? I liked that Jeanie has her own story to tell but again I felt it was upon you too quickly.
I would recommend you read this if you've read the first 2 books in the series just for closure. A Book Lovers Emporium
I needed this novella! Bound gave me the solace I needed after Caged & Chained. I didn't realize how heartbroken I still was for Anderson Cain until I read Bound. It's suspensful and disconcerting, but in a dark erotic way Bound is heartwarming. I love they way Anderson is with Sam and how he still honors Kloe. Of Course Robbie is still a great support system for Anderson too ;) But I'm so happy that Jeanie came into their lives. She's perfect for them. Bound is a captivating quick read. It's a story that is emotional & gritty but it gave me the contentment that I needed. Oh So Good!!!
